We finally have our first look at the narrative behind Activision and Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty Vanguard, and it’s a potential ripper.

We are the vanguard

Not only does Vanguard look visually stunning, but it’s set to shake up the WWII genre in a big way. The latest shooter in the series doesn’t take place during the war, but seemingly just after its last days.

And it focuses not on the German war machine, but on a real-world conspiracy theory – the Fourth Reich.

Call of Duty Vanguard is set to hit consoles and the PC on November 5th, 2021.
