It’s definitely not the biggest month for Xbox’ Games with Gold subscribers, but there are still freebies worth playing. Most notably Radiant Silvergun.

It’s a short list, as usual, and this month it’s not one that’s packed with really any big names. Well, at least not any modern big names. I have to add that caveat, since Space Invaders is included. While this month’s SI-branded title isn’t the original, it’s still an historically big name.
Other than that one though, January 2022 includes Radiant Silvergun, NeuroVoider, and Aground. While I have’t heard of the latter games, Radiant Silvergun is a bonafide classic shoot ’em up. If you dig that genre, then Treasure’s classic definitely a game in this month’s catalog you’re going to want to check out.
So yeah, it’s kind of another down month overall, but freebies are still freebies.
