Hello Bloodstained Fans!
We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with our friends at Ubisoft to invite Aurora from Child of Light into the demon-filled world of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night!
We have been longtime fans of the acclaimed Child of Light platformer RPG and knew right away Aurora was going to be a playable guest character in Bloodstained. Eagle-eyed fans even noticed Aurora’s Theme was played at the end of the Bloodstained launch trailer in 2019. The time for her arrival is finally here!
Lost in this strange new land, Aurora must battle the monsters of Gebel’s Castle alongside her friend, Igniculus. As she journeys into the gothic depths of the castle, Aurora will face off against classic Bloodstained adversaries, grow in power and acquire new attacks and abilities that will aid her journey.
It is up to you to help her find the way home.
Getting Started
Playing as Aurora is easy. Make sure your game client has the latest update when it goes live today, March 31. Start a new game from the main menu and choose Aurora from the Character Select screen. That’s it. Explore the full Bloodstained castle, use the save rooms to save your progress and the teleport rooms to quickly get around.
Increase Aurora’s Power
Aurora improves her stats and acquires shards and familiars by defeating Gebel’s demons. Defeating certain bosses will result in Aurora levelling up into her adult form.
Shards and familiars each have Ranks and Grades which can be upgraded to make them more powerful. Grades are improved by defeating more creatures and absorbing their power. Ranks can be increased by acquiring special items from chests within the castle and returning them to Johannes in Arvantville to be transmuted. When Aurora is fully leveled up, she is a formidable hero!
We hope you enjoy Aurora when she begins her newest adventure starting today! Thank you for being fans of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night!
